A small group was added today. Only 85 pictures in this update but these are all from 110 negatives. The color shift is obvious on most of the shots so I’m guessing they were not stored to well. However the content is obvious – a trip to Universal Studios, a baby shower and more.
In that same direction I will try to add some information regarding the content of the pictures with each upload notification here in the blog – sorry I didn’t think of that earlier.
On a different note…I received an offer to lend a hand with the categorization/identification of the images and I’m taking her up on it. I appreciate the help Ace, you’re the best!
I am sure you have noticed many of the images are turned 90 degrees. This was done during the original scanning process to insure the full frame was captured by the scanner. I realize this makes going through the images kind of a pain so I will be splitting my time between creating new scans and going back and correcting the orientation of these pictures.
I will also be starting to split the scanning time so I can start adding some of the 6×6, 6×7 and 4×5 negatives. Once I can get a reliable routine in place we should begin seeing a wide range of formats start entering the archive.
